Mystical Heights of Machu Picchu & Machu Picchu Serene Dawn

I created two paintings that beautifully depict the breathtaking landscapes of Machu Picchu. These artworks were commissioned by an individual who personally climbed to this iconic site and captured stunning photographs of Machu Picchu during their remarkable journey. He did faint for a few seconds due to the lack of air at such high altitudes on the mountain, but I suppose the painting serves as a reminder of how he managed to bravely challenge nature itself with his remarkable perseverance and unwavering spirit.

The Garden Radiance I, II & III

I painted “The Garden Radiance” triptych for a passionate lover of the captivating color purple who commissioned me for this unique and special project. She specified that the painting needed to beautifully showcase a vibrant garden filled with an exquisite array of flourishing hydrangeas, delicate lavender blooms, and fragrant hyacinths, all bursting with life. The final artwork aimed to capture the essence of her favorite hues while depicting the serene and enchanting beauty of nature in its full glory. She expressed her delight, saying: “This painting is how I would imagine my dream garden.”

Charming Purple Teddy Bear

The painting of the purple teddy bear is a delightful commission inspired by the client's desire to celebrate his wife's fondness for purple color. This charming artwork captures the essence of the beloved teddy bear, transformed into a captivating hue that perfectly reflects her favorite color, making it an extra special piece that brings joy to their home.

Four Pots of Happiness

In the heart of every garden lies a secret—a vivid tableau that expresses joy and serenity. These four pots of happiness, each distinct yet harmoniously intertwined, create a sanctuary where joy flourishes and memories are nurtured. In cultivating such a garden, we find that happiness isn’t just a fleeting moment; it’s a growing legacy that thrives through love and care.

Clematis

Clematis, with its vibrant and eye-catching blooms as well as cascading, lush vines, has long captivated the hearts of passionate gardeners and artists alike. In my own backyard here in Morristown, the clematis vines climb gracefully against sturdy trellises, creating an exquisite and stunning canvas that invites admiration. The way these enchanting vines wrap and entwine around their supports reflects both the intricate complexity and serene harmony that can be found in the beauty of nature.

Morning

As dawn breaks, the back mountain reveals its majestic silhouette against the soft light. The morning glory unfolds like a well-kept secret, its petals vibrant hues of violet and cream. Dew-kissed leaves glisten, capturing the first rays of sun that cascade over the horizon, casting gentle shadows across my backyard. As I stand in my backyard, witnessing this divine spectacle, I am inspired to translate this enchanting scene onto canvas, immortalizing the tranquil beauty of the morning and the breathtaking glow of the mountains behind.

Paradise

My favorite flower is the birds of paradise. The striking orange and lush green hues of its petals dance in perfect harmony, beautifully embodying the captivating essence of tropical beauty that enchants any observer. I am warmly inviting you to experience the serene grace and vivid vibrancy of this exotic paradise.

“Try to Name One”: A Canvas of Nature's Wonders
This grand and captivating 40 by 30-inch canvas will beautifully showcase a vibrant fusion of some of the world’s most unique and extraordinary flowers. At the center of this exquisite piece, there are two flowers that resemble luscious lips, known as “Girlfriend Kiss,” which originated from the tropical regions of Central and South America. To their right, a magnificent and imposing flower, the “Corpse Flower,” is celebrated for its striking size and pungent aroma, serving as a captivating symbol of nature’s eccentricities, hailing from the lush landscapes of Indonesia. Towering above the “Girlfriend Kiss,” the Rothschild’s Slipper Orchid makes a dazzling appearance. It stands out with its delicate, intricately lined-patterned petals—a treasured gem adorning the mountainous terrain of Mount Kinabalu, Malaysia.

To the left center, a pristine white flower, the White Hawaiian Hibiscus, graces the canvas, an iconic floral emblem from Hawaii, as its name suggests. Above it, the boat-shaped blossoms of the “Jade Vine,” with their gracefully curved shapes, elegantly weave and spiral in from the Philippines. Just beneath the White Hawaiian Hibiscus, an eye-catching orange flower reminiscent of fire, the “Parrot’s Beak,” captures attention with its vibrant hues, and it finds its origin in the picturesque Canary Islands. Descending from the Parrot’s Beak are three enchanting “Chocolate Cosmos,” a fascinating bloom hailing from the rich lands of Mexico.

This thoughtfully conceived composition not only celebrates each flower’s individual beauty but also creates a harmonious and interconnected bouquet that transcends geographical boundaries, inviting viewers to appreciate the remarkable diversity and splendor of our natural world in all its glory.
