"With 'The Grand Dance,' I’ve taken the concept of the 'underwater ballet' and placed it within a surreal, architectural setting. The school of fish moves in a choreographed, circular rhythm that echoes the vaulted glass ceiling above. I see this as a celebration of life and movement—an 'orchestral performance' where nature and structure meet. This piece awarded the 3rd Place: Awarded at the "In Mind's Eye" Juried Art Competition at the Studios of Cocoa Beach in May 2025 and Award of Merit: Presented by the New Jersey Art Association in September 2025.
